"When you empower a woman, you empower a family and the whole world”. That is Grace Kanini’s mantra - a young lady with a great ambition and a vision of empowering female casual labourers to start and run their own businesses, to raise their living standards, and be self-reliant.

Grace is an active facilitator at PaaMoja Initiative, a mentor-cum-mentee at Youth Venture program supported by Ashoka. She is also a volunteer at Humanity First and a graduate at LEPTA community after recently completing eight months leadership training.

Grace fondly known as Gracey is a go-getter whose passions include socializing, singing, swimming and travelling.

Grace has her roots in Mathare where she was born and raised. A devote Christian, Grace worships at Redeemed Gospel Church and is also a member of the choir.
