Doreen Njora

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Doreen is a passionate community service advocate from GLOW Foundation Global. Her journey in community work began at Daraja Academy, where she discovered her drive to serve. During her studies at the University of Nairobi, she became deeply involved with the Mathare community, which sparked her ongoing commitment to social change.
Doreen has volunteered with CMETRUST, where she conducted mentorship and implemented various programs aimed at empowering local communities. She currently serves as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at PaaMoja and also manages PaaMoja’s social media accounts, continuing her work to support community development initiatives.
Her dedication to understanding and improving communities, especially those like Mathare, has been a major motivator in her career. Doreen is also an alumna of the Viongozi Global Leadership Programme and works as a facilitator at Harambee Arts Kenya, conducting expressive arts therapy for children in Kibera. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to work with teenage girls in the Korogocho slums.
Outside of her work, Doreen enjoys hiking and listening to good music, balancing her professional life with activities that nourish her spirit.
