Emily Wangu
Lead Facilitator
Emily Wangu is a recent graduate from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration, Second class honor. She works at Paamoja Initiative Organization as a lead facilitator where she is responsible for: Planning, Organizing, Conducting and Evaluating lead training.
Her passion for the community makes her devote herself fully towards community empowerment programs and enjoys such.
She is an alumnus of Canada Mathare EducationTrust(CMETrust) organization where she conducts a program of mentorship and motivation of learners as well as planning and Organizing events,besides that she volunteers in Zero Street Child Foundation that is associated with Feeding, Re- integration and economic empowerment of street families in Vulnerable areas in the urban centers.
From her active involvement with community empowerment projects, she possesses good experience in creating networks, photography, Evaluation of programs, connecting with people, management of audience, planning and organizing events.
Previous year (2021) she participated actively in a committee that Organized a successful CMETrust At 15 Anniversary Celebrations and earned her a certificate of recognition.
As part of her work, she believes being connected to people in the community creates a conducive environment for impacting them positively.
