Daniel Shiraku was born in Mathare Valley where he still lives with his parents up to date. He underwent his primary education at MCEDO School and later joined high school through a sponsorship from Canada-Mathare Education Trust.

Apart from engaging in CMETrust alumni’s social awareness activities, Daniel has also been volunteering as a high school teacher at MCEDO School teaching business studies.

He chose to join PaaMoja Initiative so that he can have a chance to give back to the community.

Daniel recently joined University of Nairobi and he is pursuing a B.S.C in Range Management.

On his free time he likes playing table tennis, football and watching movies.
